Yohanes Konda is a seasoned attorney who has joined the Firm as an Associate Partner in August, 2020. Prior to joining the Firm, Konda had worked with FB Attorneys for four years gaining vast experience in contractual agreements, dispute resolutions, commercial law and land law. He has acted for various clients on various matters before courts of law and has developed immense knowledge on court processes and disputes resolutions.
His industry experience coupled with the Lawhill’s intensive in-house training and capacity building programmes, Konda brings in unique mix in our team and ensures the Firm’s resolve to becoming a premier tax and corporate law Firm is sustainable. In the capacity of an Associate Partner, Konda actively assumes key responsibilities and careers in Taxation; Oil and Gas; Mining; Telecommunications; Financial Services; Hospitality and Real Estate sectors under the mentorship of both, Dr. Erasmo Nyika and Hadija Kinyaka. The duo have distinguished themselves as gurus in their areas of specialities and ensure that the Lawhill’s team possess seamless expertise that makes the Firm stand out in terms of professionalism; quality; efficiency and cost effective services.
Konda holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B. (Hons)) from the University of Dar es Salaam School of Law and Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (PGDL) from the Law School of Tanzania. He is the Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and Subordinate Courts save for the Primary Courts. He is currently pursuing a Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M. in Taxation) from the University of Dar es Salaam.
